EN 1.4571 (X6CrNiMoTi17-12-2) Stainless Steel Tube Sch80S intended for pipelines

DIN EN 1.4571 material (X6CrNiMoTi17-12-2) is manufactured by adding titanium (Ti) to EN 1.4401 stainless steel (X5CrNiMo17-12-2) to enhance resistance to intergranular corrosion. Titanium improves the corrosion resistance of stainless steel, particularly intergranular corrosion, effectively preventing sensitization of stainless steel while also enhancing stability in high temperature and high pressure environments. When the mass fraction of titanium is between 0.03% and 0.1%, the yield strength of the steel is improved. Consequently, EN 1.4571 material offers superior temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and sensitization resistance compared to 1.4401.

Additional Specifications
  1. A999/A999M: Each pipe shall be subjected to nondestructive electric test or hydrostatic test, with test method selection at manufacturer's option unless otherwise specified in purchase order.
  2. Pipe lengths: Sizes from NPS 1/8" to NPS 8 available in lengths up to 24ft (15-24ft range). Short lengths acceptable with agreement between manufacturer and purchaser.
  3. Finished pipes shall be reasonably straight with workmanlike finish. Imperfection removal by grinding permitted provided wall thickness remains within A999/A999M Section 9 specifications.
  4. Butt Weld End: According to ANSI B 16.25
  5. Pipe Marking: As specified in A999/999M, including "Logo+Standard+SIZE+Heat No.+Lot No.+H.T/E.T/U.T"
