DIN EN 1.4541 Stainless Steel (X6CrNiTi18-10) is a variant version of 1.4301. The addition of titanium stabilizes the carbide without sensitizing it, because the carbide formed by titanium is more stable than chromium. These carbides remove carbon from the solid solution and prevent the precipitation of chromium carbide. Therefore, this material is also known as stable stainless steel. 1.4541 material has high corrosion resistance, good weldability and cold formability.

This kind of steel has the characteristics of austenitic and ferritic stainless steel, compared with ferritic, higher plasticity, toughness, no room temperature brittleness, intergranular corrosion resistance and welding performance are significantly improved, while also maintaining the ferritic stainless steel 475℃ brittleness and high thermal conductivity, with superplasticity and other characteristics.

• A999/A999M: Each pipe shall be subjected to the nondestructive electric test or the hydrostatic test, the pipe of test to be used shall be at the option of the manufacturer, unless otherwise specified in the purchase order.
• Pipe Lengths: Unless otherwise agreed upon, all sizes from NPS 1/8" to and including NPS 8 are available in lengths up to 24ft with the permitted range of 15 to 24 ft. Short lengths are acceptable and the number and minimum length shall be agreed upon between manufacturer and purchaser.
• Quality Standards: The finished pipe shall be reasonably straight and shall have workmanlike finish. Removal of imperfections by grinding is permitted, provided the wall thickness is not decreased to less than permitted in Section 9 of Specification A999/A999M.
• Butt Weld End: According to ANSI B 16.25
• Pipe Marking: Specified in A999/999M, include "Logo+Standard+Size+Heat No.+Lot No.+H.T/E.T/U.T"
